Paul started flying in 1986 and now has over 10,000 hours of flight time. Much of his flight time has been giving flight instruction - and with over 8000 hours of instruction given Paul is one of the most experienced flight instructors in New Mexico.

-Type ratings in L39 and CM170 jet trainers and qualified as first officer in the HS-125 business jet

Larry Haight
After leaving the Air Force in 1989 Larry continued in his passion for aviation by becoming not only a commercial pilot and flight instructor, but also a licensed aircraft mechanic. When not instructing he enjoys flying aerobatics in his own Bellanca Decathlon. Larry now has over 7500 hours of flight time.

Chuck Grosvenor
Chuck started flying in 1976 and became an FAA Certificated Flight Instructor in 1979. After retiring from the U.S. Navy in 2009 and relocating back to his hometown of Santa Fe in 2010, Chuck again took up his passion for flight instruction and joined the staff at Sierra Aviation. When not instructing at Sierra Aviation, Chuck devotes a great deal of his time to the Civil Air Patrol as an instructor and check pilot.

Michael Szczepanski
Since learning to fly in 1994 with the Brown University Flying Club, Michael’s passion for aviation has only grown stronger. He has accumulated over 6200 hours flying skydivers, air ambulance, cargo, and for an airline. Currently, when not instructing Michael flies a Learjet 35.
